BHUTAN TRAVEL ITINERARY

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, meet your guide and receive a traditional white scarf (khadar) welcome.

Begin a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan.

En route, stop at Tachogang Lhakhang Bridge, a 15th-century iron-chain bridge.

Arrive in Thimphu and check in at your hotel.

Evening walk through the market street and handicraft stores.

Welcome dinner featuring authentic Bhutanese cuisine.

Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Start your day at Memorial Chorten, dedicated to the Third King.

Visit the majestic Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world.

Learn about Bhutanese arts at the Royal Textile Academy and Folk Heritage Museum.

Visit the Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan's national animal.

After breakfast, begin the drive back to Paro (approx. 6–7 hours).

Drive to Chele La Pass (3,988m), the highest motorable road in Bhutan.
